RFL Cargo applies the regulations for the import of electronic products

A new import control for electrical and electronic products is expected to be implemented in May and June in order to improve health and environmental protection. RFL Cargo offers a service in which we guarantee compliance with the RAAE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), RPyA (Waste Batteries and Accumulators) and RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electronic Equipment) regulations.

In addition, as an integral logistics operator, we believe in the need to improve controls and apply the necessary measures to guarantee health protection, both for our customers and our own workers, as well as for the goods with which we operate. This procedure is very important because it will facilitate the revaluation and proper disposal of waste from electronic and electrical equipment at import.

Food products exports to China

As with the new import controls, exports of food products to China have changed since the beginning of the year. Specifically, requirements have been established to be able to export products to the eastern country.

The first measure is that the General Administration of Customs (GACC) requires a new online registration for manufacturers of food products exporting to China. In other words, all traders who want to export in this country have to take into account that they have to register in the new one. In addition, in order to clear the goods at destination, it will be necessary to include this registration number in the customs declaration. This will be done so that the government can control the goods coming into the country.

RFL Cargo, as a specialized international freight forwarder, we have adapted to this regulation in order to continue exporting to this region normally. For more information, please contact [email protected]
